We had a very pleasant stay at Slievenamon Manor. It was a great place to stay for touring Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains.

A good value located fairly close to town on the water and near some good restaurants and pubs. Mr Kennedy, the owner took time to chat with us at length about the local culture and the details of rugby, his sons were semi-pro.This is exactly the experience I wanted my grandson to have.

This BB was a great location for visiting Dublin without being right in the middle of the chaos of the city This was our first stop after landing in Ireland. The only downside was that our flight got in around 5am and obviously our room wasnt ready yet. There wasnt anything open that early on the strip right near the BB so we were nomads for a few hours until they could let us into our room they did let us in early around 10am which was much appreciated And there is a cute little restaurant down the street where we got some good breakfast. The BB was quaint, the rooms a little tight but we were only there to sleep so it worked out fine You get breakfast every morning and its delicious There was a bus line right in front of the BB so we would take that into the city every day it was pretty cheap and a 10 min drive or so, definitely worth not driving. They had a hop-on, hop-off tour in the city to take you to all the popular sites of Dublin. We did rent a car while we were there and parking near the BB was not an issue. Hope this helps

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in late Oct 11.The room was clean and a reasonable size. We were on the second floor and there was superb view over Dublin bay. The proprietor, John Kennedy, could not have been more courteous or helpful. We would stay here again.
